Sound

When gigging you should make sure that you have the right type of sound system for the room / venue. I have seen many players using some very weak system, that only sounds as if someone is beating on some old cans. Distortion is not a good thing when it's not an effect. The more power you have the better you sound at low volumes.

You can now get big sound in small compact boxes so you don't have to travel with bulky equipment.
